4 reasons why hiring an International wedding photographer might be a great idea
Original and fresh outlook on the wedding location

While having someone local, who is familiar with an area or a specific venue, may seem like an advantage, people are creatures of habit and there is the temptation to capture the same images and frames each time when you are shooting in a familiar scenario. The benefit of having a wedding photographer with a fresh mind, surveying a location, is they will no doubt come up with new spots and angles, making your images stand out from the ones you might have seen captured from other local photographers.
Someone that is almost as excited about your wedding as you are When you hire a wedding photographer from abroad, you will be working with someone who loves to travel. And travel lovers are almost always down for extra exploring, especially given the opportunity to photograph a beautiful couple in an unique location. Depending on the photographer, you might be able to do a “Day After” session too, because for an international photographer each location is 'once in a lifetime possibility' that they will be more than willing to take advantage of. That's why you will see in my Destination Weddings package, that there is a complementary 2-hour photoshoot that could be done in any location you desire. Even if it means travelling 300km to get to the other side of the country, or hiking up a mountain at 4AM to catch the sunrise at your favorite spot, you can be assured that I will be more than happy to do it.
More cost-effective You would think that hiring a wedding photographer from abroad will come with a bill much bigger than having someone local photograph your wedding, but in many cases even the opposite can be true. Standards of living in every country are different and as a result rates of photographers can vary a lot from one place to the other. For example, a premium wedding photographer from Eastern Europe might charge less than a newly-aspiring photographer from western countries like the UK, Iceland, Denmark or Germany, where prices are generally much higher. And as the world is getting "smaller" with travel costs dropping significantly over the last decade, flying your favorite photographer from abroad should be a no-brainer. If you are curious how much it would cost for me to come to your country to photograph your big day, or join you for your destination wedding experience, check out this page with my base rates for weddings abroad and for a quote, fill out the form letting me know the location and dates of the event and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Style that you can identify with

Search the web, or social media for ‘wedding photographers’ and you will find hundreds of different professionals with hundreds of different styles: editorial, journalistic, moody, colorful, fine art, black/white, etc. It’s definitely not a ‘one size fits all.’ If you know the style of photos you want for your wedding, having an international pool of people to choose from can really give you the opportunity to work with an artist whose work aligns with your vision and not just settle for what's available in your area.
I hope that you found those points helpful in the event that you were considering whether to hire an international wedding photographer to capture your wedding. And if that wedding photographer is me, I encourage you to send me an email and tell me more about yourself and the wedding that you are planning. I appreciate so much the fact that you are considering me and I hope to talk to you soon! :) Contact me here...
