As permits can take time to obtain, I recommend planning your elopement several months in advance to ensure everything is approved before your wedding day. If you’re planning on a shorter timeline, there are also many stunning viewpoints just outside the park boundaries that don’t require a permit while still offering incredible views of Mount Teide.
Bonus: Lookout near Chipeque – Above the Clouds ☁️
If you love the idea of eloping above the clouds, the viewpoints near Chipeque along the TF-24 road offer an experience that’s almost heavenly. Watching the sun set over a sea of clouds with Mount Teide in the background is simply unforgettable.
