Fabio + Jasmin Love Story in Tenerife

A ‘Love Story’ couple photoshoot in Tenerife near Costa Adeje
I was really excited to photograph the lovely Jasmin and Fabio during their vacation in Tenerife. Young, beautiful and oh-so in love. I wanted to find a new and unique location for their love story photoshoot, and this secluded, rocky beach not far from Costa Adeje was a spot I had been wanting to shoot at for some time.
We went there just before sunset, and once again I realised that the later you schedule a photoshoot, the better it gets. We stayed well after sunset and into blue hour, and the atmosphere was just so romantic and a little mystical — the perfect setting for their love story.
At one point I felt like I was in a romantic novel and they were the protagonists. I have to say I’m quite obsessed with the photos… and I have a feeling you might be too.

Your Questions Answered
Where is the best location and time of day for a love story photoshoot in Tenerife?
Tenerife has so many beautiful spots, from hidden beaches near Costa Adeje to volcanic landscapes and cliffs. I always choose locations based on the couple and the vibe we’re going for, so every love story photoshoot feels unique. Check out my guide HERE for some of my favourite places.
Timing wise – sunset is definitely the best time. The light is softer, the colors are warmer, and the atmosphere feels more intimate — perfect for a natural and relaxed love story session. And even after the sun sets behind the horizon – blue hour makes for some very unique atmospheric photos.

Do we need to know how to pose?
Not at all. Most couples I photograph have never done a photoshoot before. I’ll guide you gently, but the focus is on real moments and connection rather than stiff posing. If you want, before the couple photo session I can send you an inspo board with some ideas if you would still like to practice beforehand.
What should we wear for our photoshoot?
I always recommend neutral tones, flowy textures, and outfits that feel like you. For a place like the one in this couple photo session, comfortable shoes are key, as a short hike is required to reach the spot. You can also bring a second pair, just as Jasmin did, so that you can have a cute pair on hand that might not be ideal for some steper sections of the path.
