Candlelit Proposal in Abama, Tenerife

THE STORY

S. contacted me about a month ago, sharing his vision of a romantic sunset proposal on the cliffs, overlooking the ocean here in Tenerife. He imagined white flowers, soft candlelight, and an intimate, dreamy atmosphere—something truly unforgettable for such a special moment.

I immediately knew that Tenerife would be the perfect place for a candlelit proposal like this. With the almost constant sunshine in the south, even at the beginning of March, you can count on those golden sunsets that make everything feel even more magical.

For the setup, I knew we needed expert hands to bring his vision to life. That’s why I was so happy to collaborate with the amazing girls from Picnic Canary, who deserve all the credit for the stunning floral and candle arrangement. They created such a beautiful, elegant setting—perfectly designed for a romantic proposal in Tenerife.

And yet, as it often happens in moments like these, the world seemed to fade into the background. In the end the view over the cliffs was so beautiful in itself, that the big question was asked before the sweet couple reached the decorated spot. Of course, she said “yes!”—and just like that, it became the beginning of a beautiful evening and the start of a new chapter together.
